Quezon City Public Library isn’t like the other public libraries. It envisions itself to be a premier and world class public library. It boasts its well-lit spacious study areas. It houses thousands of books and has a contemporary look and design, totally different from the usual public libraries in the country.  The collections are cataloged using the National Library’s Online Public Access Catalog called “Koha”. The first floor has the Filipiniana, reference section, periodicals and the children’s corner. The second floor features the function halls, law research, and multimedia services. The QC Public library has free wifi and also has a really nice cozy cafe where you can eat and drink while reading your book, also a charging station for your laptop.

The Quezon City Public Library envisions itself to be responsive to the information and research needs of the community and really caters to everyone. It even has services for college students and researchers, it offers online academic databases provided by the National Library. These are GALE, Big Timber Media, Emerald publishing, Springer link, PressReader, and Philippine E-Journals.

Quezon City Public Library was awarded as the third best library in 2016 by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. The library’s services are open to both residents and non-residents, free of charge.
